How it works

Terms and conditions of sale

Applicable to any order placed on this site by a consumer, from 4 November 2026.

In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. The seller

The wines presented on ouillage.fr are sold by ASPHERE SAS, with a share capital of 1 000,00 €, RCS de Thionville 907 876 957, VAT FR87907876957, whose registered office is 2 bis rue Georges Wodli, 57250 Moyeuvre-Grande (SIRET 907 876 957 00016), under the brand “Ouillage”. Off-licence (take-away alcohol sales) permit: being obtained. Contact: contact form, or post to the registered office.

2. Sales reserved for adults

Selling alcoholic drinks to minors is prohibited (article L. 3342-1 of the French Public Health Code). By ordering, you declare that you are at least 18 years old; your date of birth is requested and checked before payment, then kept with the order. The parcel must be handed to an adult; the carrier may ask for proof of identity. ASPHERE may cancel and refund any order that it has reason to believe was placed by or for a minor.

3. The wines

Each wine page shows the appellation, colour, vintage, bottle size, price incl. VAT and dispatch lead time. The illustrations are drawings that do not reproduce the labels: they have no contractual value. Alcohol content and mandatory information appear on the bottle delivered. Some bottles carry a back label in a foreign language; their page says so, and the mandatory information in French is added on a supplementary label.

  • The Cellar: arrival being prepared; these wines cannot be ordered yet. A “Notify me on arrival” request neither commits you nor reserves anything.
  • The Selection: wines bought from our supplier in lots, after customers’ orders: they are sold in group pre-order, under article 3 bis. The few bottles of a group order that stay in stock are marked “in stock” on their page and dispatched within 3 working days.

Drinking alcohol during pregnancy, even in small quantities, can have serious consequences for the health of the child.

3 bis. Pre-order

Our supplier only sells in lots: at least 36 bottles per wine and 300 bottles per order. As nothing is bought in advance, the wines of the Selection are sold in group pre-order, in three-month campaigns (the first from 4 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, then February to April, May to July, August to October and November to January):

  • Payment: the price, delivery cost and dispatch date are shown before payment; your card is charged when you order. A dedicated box, before payment, records your agreement to these conditions.
  • Subscription price: each pre-ordered wine of the Selection has a subscription price, published on its page as a schedule, as in en primeur. It depends on the month of the campaign in which the order is placed (first, second or third month) and on the number of bottles of that same wine in the order (1 to 11, 12 to 35, 36 and more). The applicable price is that of the schedule on the day of the order, calculated by the site and shown in the cart and then on the payment page before validation; it is not changed afterwards. Bottles of the Selection already in stock and wines of the Cellar are sold at the single price shown on their page.
  • Two thresholds, at the close: the campaign closes on the last day of its third month at 11:59 pm (Paris time). A wine is only retained if it totals at least 36 pre-ordered bottles, all orders combined; the group order is only proposed to the supplier if the retained wines total at least 300 bottles. Beyond 36 bottles, a wine is ordered in multiples of 6; the rounding bottles stay in stock. The counter on each wine page and the “group order” bar of the site show where the campaign stands. At the close, ASPHERE checks with the supplier that each retained wine can still be delivered, then checks the proposed order before placing it.
  • Refund: if your wine is not retained, if the group order does not reach 300 bottles, or if ASPHERE does not place the proposed order, the corresponding line is refunded automatically, to the card used, within 5 working days of the close at the latest (how long the credit takes to appear depends on your bank), and you are notified by e-mail. If nothing is left to deliver to you, the whole order is refunded, delivery costs included; otherwise the rest of the order is kept and the delivery costs are recalculated, the difference being refunded to you.
  • Wine the supplier can no longer deliver: if the group order is placed but our supplier can no longer deliver one of your wines, ASPHERE offers you by e-mail an equivalent wine (same colour, same or neighbouring appellation, of a value at least equal to the price paid, chosen among the wines of the order), at no extra charge. No substitution takes place without your express agreement: you choose “I accept the equivalent” or “refund” on the page given in the e-mail; with no answer within 7 days, the line is refunded automatically, under the conditions above.
  • Firm date: the latest dispatch date of a pre-ordered wine is the closing date plus 15 working days; the latest delivery date is the dispatch date plus 5 working days. These dates are commitments (article L. 216-1 of the French Consumer Code): if delivery does not take place by that date, you may terminate the sale under the conditions of article 7.
  • Mixed order: an order that mixes bottles in stock and pre-ordered wines is dispatched in one go, on the latest date, shown in the cart before payment; if the pre-order is refunded, the wines in stock are dispatched without waiting.
  • Withdrawal: the 14-day right of withdrawal (article 8) also applies to pre-ordered wines; it runs from their receipt.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (20% VAT included). Delivery costs are shown in the cart before the order: €14.90 incl. VAT per started carton of six 75 cl bottles (a magnum counts as two bottles), free from €300.00 incl. VAT of wine. The applicable price is the one shown at the time of the order; for a pre-ordered wine, it is the subscription price of the day of the order (article 3 bis).

5. Order

You choose your wines, check the cart and the total, declare that you are an adult, enter your date of birth and accept these conditions, then pay on the secure payment page, where you enter your billing and delivery addresses. The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. You receive the payment receipt and the invoice by e-mail. ASPHERE archives orders of €120 or more for ten years and gives you access to them on request (articles L. 213-1 and D. 213-1 of the French Consumer Code).

6. Payment

Payment is made by bank card, when you order, on the secure page of our payment provider (Stripe). Card data is never passed to ASPHERE. The payment may be subject to your bank’s strong authentication (3-D Secure).

7. Delivery

Delivery to metropolitan France (including Corsica) only, to the address given at payment; we do not deliver abroad or to overseas territories. Parcels are dispatched from Lorraine, by Colissimo, delivered against signature: they are handed to an adult, against signature. The latest dispatch and delivery dates are shown on the wine page and in the cart, before payment (dispatch within 3 working days for wines in stock; firm date for pre-orders, article 3 bis); a mixed order is dispatched in one go, on the latest date. Delivery takes place by the date thus shown at the latest; otherwise you may terminate the sale under articles L. 216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code and are refunded all sums paid.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you take possession of the bottles. Check the parcel on delivery and report any breakage or missing item through the contact form as soon as possible, with a photo: the broken bottle is replaced or refunded.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days from the receipt of the wines to withdraw, without having to give a reason (article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code). Tell us of your decision by an unambiguous statement, through the contact form or by post to the registered office, using the model below if you wish.

Return the bottles, intact and unopened, within 14 days of your decision, to the address we give you; return costs are at your expense. We refund all sums paid, initial delivery costs included (at the standard rate), within 14 days of your decision, by the means of payment used; the refund may be deferred until the bottles are received or proof of their dispatch is given.

Exception: the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for bottles unsealed after delivery (capsule or cork removed), which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene and health protection (article L. 221-28, 5°, of the French Consumer Code). Your liability may be engaged for any loss in value of the bottles resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

9. Legal guarantees

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) for two years from delivery: in case of a lack of conformity, you may obtain repair or replacement of the goods, or failing that a price reduction or termination of the sale. You do not have to prove that the defect existed during these two years. You also benefit from the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code) for two years from their discovery.

Wine evolves in the bottle: the normal evolution of a wine for laying down, a natural deposit or the variation of a cork are not in themselves a defect. A corked or spoiled bottle should be reported through the contact form, without emptying it.

10. Personal data

The data needed for the order is processed by ASPHERE as described in the privacy policy.

11. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint should first be sent to customer service, through the contact form. In accordance with articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you may then use a consumer mediator free of charge; ASPHERE’s mediator is being appointed and will be named here.

12. Governing law

These conditions are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute is brought before the competent court under the ordinary rules of law.
