L’Escale, the welcome box
Everything needed on arrival, in a sealed kraft box in your concierge service’s colours. The offer does not exist yet; before building it, we are asking concierge services and hosts for their opinion.
The box
A kraft box whose lid bears the name of the Escale in stencilled letters, closed by a numbered seal (“Box no. 0427”), with a cardboard wedge. Inside:
- an arrival booklet with your logo: the traveller’s first name, the Wi-Fi QR code, three house rules;
- the neighbourhood map, folded: your five good addresses.
White label: the traveller receives a gift from their host.
Three boxes
Escale the essentials
50 cl mineral water · artisan crisps · Nancy bergamot sweets (Lorraine edition) or Paris sweets (Île-de-France edition) · a coffee or tea sachet · a square of dark chocolate · the arrival booklet.
Optional: an 18.7 cl miniature of wine.
Escale gourmande the mid-range
a 37.5 cl half-bottle from the Selection · terrine or rillettes in a jar · crackers or breadsticks · a chocolate bar · a regional speciality (Boulay macarons, Commercy madeleines) · a waiter’s corkscrew marked Ouillage · the arrival booklet.
Grande Escale the top of the range
a 75 cl bottle from the Selection, or a crémant · whole foie gras in a jar and fig chutney · truffle crisps · a grand cru chocolate · pure-butter shortbread · mirabelle plum jam · an engraved corkscrew · a numbered card, signed by your concierge service.
Every box exists without alcohol: a sparkling grape juice or an artisan lemonade replaces the wine, for families in particular.
Two regional editions
- Lorraine: Nancy bergamot sweets, Boulay macarons, mirabelle plum, Commercy madeleines.
- Île-de-France: Paris honey, Parisian chocolates and biscuits.
Only packaged products that keep for at least three months (nothing fresh, the foie gras is in a jar): you can keep a stock in advance.
Nothing is decided: the content, the price and the delivery will depend on your answers. No commitment, no sale at this stage. Ouillage, an online wine house based in Lorraine (Moselle), delivers all of metropolitan France only.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Drink in moderation.
Drinking alcohol during pregnancy, even in small quantities, can have serious consequences for the health of the child.
A box that contains an alcoholic drink must not be handed to minors.
